An avid saltwater fisherman for most of
his life, Jed carves beautiful marine gamefish largely based on knowledge
gained from many years of catching and filleting them. He also enjoys
sculpting marine mammals and the occasional mollusk.
Jed uses a variety of woods for his sculptures, including cedar, basswood, and mahogany. All carvings are custom made and unique and can be hand painted. Multiple coats of clear varnish ensure each creation appears as if it were just eased from the water.
